Chef Imran Ashton is a featured Chef in the BVI Wine & Food Fesgtival, he is building a name that encompasses flavor, quality and introduces a new level of inspiration to cooking and catering throughout the BVI and Caribbean.

Imran began cooking at his mother side Angella Todman as a youngster for years. He did his formal training at the New England Culinary Institute while working at some of the finest restaurants in the BVI. Imran has worked in reputable restaurants throughout the Caribbean and London most famously The River Café in London as a Sous Chef. Imran has also trained with the BVI National Culinary Team while winning numerous awards and accolades along the way.

Imran decided to go into business and open Plumrose Catering and Private Charters. This Company was doing well and he got the itch to go back in the kitchen and became the Executive Chef of the Moorings based in the BVI, managing three outlets. After about four year he left to open his own restaurant, Plumrose Restaurant and catering services located at Prospect Reef.

Central to all of Imran’s endeavors is his passion for dining well, which means a commitment to provide food, made with only the freshest and best quality ingredients available.

Imran’s Philosophy is “Cook from the heart add a dash of love and a sprinkle of Passion”.
